She handles 10 to 35 persons comfortably and is expertly rigged out to host a variety of special and unusual functions. Toro Ya Me is a modern twin-hulled vessel built by a leading engineering firm under the watchful eye of a renowned structural engineer. This family owned and operated boat adheres to a stringent set of safety regulations. This applies both to the Skippers’ qualifications as well as the inherently modern features of the boat.

The Toro Ya Me caters for a variety of functions ranging from sunset cruises to corporate conferencing. Excluding the crew, the vessel can comfortably accommodate 35 passengers. Standard catering includes snacks, meals and beverages. For specialised services that are not mentioned on our standard menu, it is requested that you contact us well in advance.

In season Toro Ya Me offers two daily morning and evening cruises. You can use this website to check for availability to make an online booking. Alternatively you may also use our contact form to make an enquiry and your host Derna will contact you in person to make the necessary arrangements.

Our crew

Once onboard you will meet Ruth, our boat supervisor, who is at your service for the duration of the cruise. Table service is provided by our experienced and feisty waiter, Donald who takes obvious pleasure in traversing the deck to keep your plates full and drinks topped to the brim. Besides for guiding you to within touching distance of the best scenery around, our certified skipper Jaco-Abrie is also there to ensure your safety onboard at all times. If you still have questions about the crew and the above mentioned line-up, then meet Derna our tour co-coordinator. Derna is the one who takes care of the finer detail that make our trips such a resounding success. Her finer detail to attention includes good music and making onboard safety her number one concern.

When not on the lake you will find Toro Ya Me docked at the Hartbeespoort Oewer Club in Schoemansville. The facility offers pleasant picnic spots and braai areas where families gather to enjoy our legendary great weather. So come and join us at Hartbeespoort Dam in the heart of the Magaliesberg.
